Finding Books:

 

Search the library catalog using a specific topic, such as marketing or sales, or browse the following subject areas below.

 

To retrieve a listing of items within the Sullivan University library online catalog, click on the appropriate Library of Congress Subject Heading with the corresponding Dewey Decimal number(s), in the box below, then click GO!


 


 

Also, Sullivan University Library offers the Library Alert service, which is designed to alert SUS students, faculty and staff of the latest titles @ the Sullivan University Louisville library! Sign up to be notified by e-mail when the library receives new books, videos, DVDs, etc., in the categories that interest you.

 

 

 

Periodical Search:

Use the periodical search function on the Catalog home page to find periodical titles indexed in our databases.  For example, if you have a citation to an article and want to see if it is available full-text in our databases, search for the journal title, and the system will lead you to the correct database.

Use the periodical search function on the Catalog home page to find relevant "Country Monitor" and "Economic Studies" reports for a country.  In the "title begins with" search box, type your country name, e.g. "France."  The results list will show all titles beginning with that word.  In this case, "France Country Monitor" and "France Economic Studies" are listed.   Click the link to the Business Source Premier database, click the most recent publication listed, and the table of contents of the issue will appear.

Academic Search Premier: Available through EBSCOhost, this database indexes 4,450 scholarly/peer-reviewed journals in all academic disciplines back to 1975 and provides the corresponding full-text/full-image for articles. Updated daily.

ERIC: Available through EBSCOhost, ERIC (The Educational Resource Information Center) provides citations and abstracts for 1000+ education journals.

 

MasterFILE Premier: An EBSCOhost database primarily designed as a general reference tool for public libraries, this database provides full-text articles from reference sources including magazines, books, biographies, primary documents, photos, maps and flags.  Updated daily.

Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center: Critical Thinking: This resource is a comprehensive, full-text database providing differing points of view on current social issues, such as affirmative action, censorship, ecology, mental health, and many other social issues.

 

Professional Development Collection: Available through EBSCOhost and designed for professional educators, this database presents users a highly-specialized collection of nearly 600 full text journals, including more than 350 peer-reviewed titles covering topics from children's health and development to cutting-edge pedagogical theory and practice.
