Alt-Press Watch: Available through ProQuest?, this database provides access to articles from alternative and independent press newspapers, magazines and journals that provide a valuable non-mainstream source of coverage, viewpoints and perspectives to that of traditional media sources.

BPubs.com:  A search engine that scans an indexed directory of business publications.

Criminal Justice Periodicals Index: Available through ProQuest?, this database's 68 journals provides the most comprehensive electronic resource for students and professionals in the criminal justice field from 1981 to present.

GPO Monthly Catalog: Available through The Kentucky Virtual Library (KYVL), this U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) database provides access to all GPO-printed documents from a wide range of government agencies, including Congressional reports, hearings, debates, and records: judiciary materials; and documents issued by executive departments.

Newspaper Source: An EBSCOhost? database providing full-text articles from 23 national and international newspapers, television and radio news transcripts, and 200 regional U.S. newspapers.  Updated daily.

Opposing Viewpoints:  A database providing differing points of view on current social issues, such as affirmative action, censorship, ecology and mental health

Sociological Collection: An EBSCOhost? database indexing full-text articles from 500+ scholarly/peer-reviewed journals back to 1975 in all areas of sociology including social behavior, relationships and social structure.  Updated daily.

 

Periodical Search:

Use the periodical search function on the Catalog home page to find periodical titles indexed in our databases.  For example, if you have a citation to an article and want to see if it is available full-text in our databases, search for the journal title, and the system will lead you to the correct database.

http://supct.law.cornell.edu/supct/index.html Cornell offers one of the most comprehensive and user-friendly sites related to the Supreme Court.  You can search by name or browse by topic.  The collection coverage begins in 1990.
