- Audio Visual Equipment:
The library's five smart classrooms are all equipped with PC's connected to the Internet, as well as with VCRs. In addition, the Library has other TV equipment such as a 35mm projector, audio tape player, camcorder, etc., available for check out. To reserve these items, contact the library staff.
- Electronic Database Classes:
Classes on the use of the library's electronic databases and card catalog are scheduled several times each quarter. Dates and times for these classes are available by clicking here. The database training schedule also appears in the college newsletter each quarter. No sign up is required. Classes last about one hour.
- Group Study Areas and Classrooms:
A number of group study areas and classrooms may be reserved for faculty and student use. Many of the rooms have library network access. See librarians to reserve rooms.
- Library Alert:
This is a service designed to alert SUS students, faculty and staff
of the latest titles at the Sullivan University Louisville library.
- Network Access: The Sullivan University Library RESERVES System supports any course offered by the College. Faculty may place materials on reserve for student use for a specified time period at any time during the school quarter. RESERVES provides indexing to these paper-, audiovisual-, or electronic-formatted materials. eRESERVES provides remote access to course descriptions and syllabi. The Faculty Web Index is a list of all faculty websites. The faculty can place course materials on their websites so their students can access them from home.
- "The Librarian Is In" Program:
Library staff members are available to answer research questions and to educate patrons about database use and library research. Library patrons may also make an appointment to work one-on-one with a librarian by calling 456-6773.
