Biography Databases Academic Search Premier: An EBSCOhost database indexing 4,450 scholarly /peer-reviewed journals back to 1975 and providing the corresponding full-text/full-image for articles in all academic disciplines. Updated daily. Biography Reference Bank: Available through the Kentucky Virtual Library, this database contains the full text of scholarly biographical articles on 195,000 famous individuals. Individuals covered range from antiquity to the present in all fields and nationalities, and articles come from over 100 volumes of biographical reference books, including 100,000 biographies and obituaries from biographical reference books, over 3,000 periodicals and 2,500 individual and collected biographies, and incidental biographical information included in non-biographical works. Contains over 28,000 images of subjects. Biographies searchable by name, profession, title, race/ethnicity, titles of works, dates or birth and death, keyword, and the inclusion of an image.
